The Problem
Your inbox turned into the front door for everything.
If you’re a property manager, insurer, accountant, in logistics or HR, almost every email is a small case to move forward: an invoice to record, a claim to update, a contract to adjust, a file to store in the right system.
To do that, you spend your day in the same loop:
read → search for context in other tools → check details → update systems → reply
None of these steps are hard on their own.
What hurts is doing them hundreds of times a week, across inbox, ERP, accounting, HRIS, claims tools, portals, shared drives.
Your job is to keep cases moving and systems correct.
Your inbox just makes you do all the glue work by hand.
What We're Building
We’re building an email client for people who move hundreds of small cases a day.
An inbox that:
- understands what each email is about (building, policy, account, shipment, employee…)
- pulls in the right context from your systems while you read
- suggests the next steps your team usually takes for that kind of case
- and can run those steps for you, with your approval, straight from the thread
Think:
- Superhuman’s speed
- Front’s collaboration (comments, shared threads)
- an AI teammate in the thread that can search, check, update and draft for you
Not AI that runs on its own in the background and hopes you don’t notice.
AI that sits next to you, inside the inbox, on every important email.
Why Now
A few years ago, we tried to fix this from the other side.
At a property management firm, we:
- built our own ERP
- used Front as a shared inbox
- built a plugin and webhooks to push emails into the ERP and pull context back
It helped, but it didn’t change the loop: read, search, check, update, reply.
Now two things have changed:
-
Language models can handle messy email.
They can understand who is who, what’s being asked, what documents contain, and what’s missing. -
It’s finally realistic to build a fast, well-integrated client.
APIs and infrastructure make it possible to connect deeply to ERPs and line-of-business tools, and to index and query that data ourselves.
The tech is ready to help with the work around the email, not just the text of the email.
What We Believe
- Email will stay the main way organisations send each other work.
- For many teams, the right pattern is human + AI on most cases, not AI alone with humans on exceptions.
- Delegating should be quicker than doing it yourself, or it won’t happen.
- Tools you use all day should be fast, focused, and feel cared for.
- AI should live in the interface you already use, not in a separate box on the side.
- People care more about feeling on top of things than about raw “inbox zero” productivity.
Our Ambition
We’re not trying to rebuild Gmail or Outlook for everyone.
We’re starting with the people who feel this pain most:
back-office and ops teams whose work runs between inbox and ERP, accounting, claims, HR, logistics tools.
For them, our goal is simple:
build an inbox so much better for their kind of work that switching feels obvious, even compared to what’s bundled and free.
If we do that right, we think this way of working with email — fast, collaborative, and AI-aware of your real systems — will become the default, not the niche.
Why? Because we want people to spend more time moving real cases forward, and less time doing the robot work in between.
Our Principles
We don't copy existing tools blindly. We watch how teams actually work, break the problem down, and build from first principles. If a pattern doesn't fit the work, we change the pattern.
We believe thoughtful, simple design makes people faster. We sweat the basics—speed, shortcuts, clarity—because small details add up when you live in a tool all day.
We don't want to make you feel guilty about your inbox. We want you to feel that everything important is under control, and that nothing critical will fall through the cracks.
Our product touches real money, real people, and real records. We'll be clear about what the AI did and why, and we'll avoid any shortcut that might break trust later.
